Use your consulting skills to create a true learning solution! In this session, you will discover 3 key tactics needed to design value added learning solutions.
- Beware of Cognitive Over/Under Load
- Presented by Karen E. Lubrecht, Proprietor of cKc Consultants
We all want our instruction to facilitate and optimize the learning process, but effective instructional design is a delicate balance. With the availability of easily created and highly engaging user interactivity, gaming, graphics and animation, there is a temptation to overload our learning content. On the other hand, the lack of user engagement can lead to learning ineffectiveness. Consideration of the cognitive load can assist with the creation of effective e-Learning modules that optimize learners' performance. During this session, we will discuss five cognitive considerations when developing your e-Learning.
